A first aftertreatment device 306 and a second aftertreatment device 308 are connected to each other through an exhaust emission communication section 310 so that the first aftertreatment device 306 and second aftertreatment device 308 are arranged along the separate surfaces S4, S5 of the engine body 100. Thereby, both the first aftertreatment device 306 and second aftertreatment device 308 are brought into contact with the engine body 100 or sufficiently approach the engine body, and engine exhaust heat is efficiently taken into the exhaust emission control device 300 and utilized. Accordingly, the aftertreatment device 306 and second aftertreatment device 308 are always maintained at activation temperature, and purifying efficiency is improved.
