To provide an exhaust emission control device in which the mixing of exhaust flowing out from a selective reduction catalyst is promoted, and the detection accuracy of an exhaust sensor is improved as a result.
The exhaust emission control device includes: a casing 4a which is provided at an exhaust passage of an engine 20, is formed cylindrical and has an opening 4c at a cylindrical surface; and the selective reduction catalyst 5 provided in the casing 4. The exhaust emission control device further includes: a pipe 8 which is formed as a cylindrical shape having a cross section smaller than the casing 4a, and inserted in a fitted manner from the opening 4c to the inside of the casing 4a; and the exhaust sensor 13 which is attached to the pipe 8, and detects a nitrogen oxide concentration contained in the exhaust.
