Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system which collects particle matters evenly across the whole area of a filter.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control system 1 includes a filter 3 which collects particle matters in exhaust gas, and a case 2 accommodating the filter 3. A gas passage 6 is formed between an outer wall of the filter 3 and an inner wall of the case 2 such that a flow passage area in a downstream side in a flow direction of the exhaust gas is smaller than a flow passage area in an upstream side. The exhaust gas flows from the gas passage 6 into the filter 3.
