Title:
EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3951598
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system formed that PM combustion gas generated during the regeneration of a first filter situated in front on the engine side is caused to be smoothly confluent with exhaust gas during the collection of PM and discharged through a second filter situated in the rear and can be discharged, and the first filter can be high-efficiently regenerated.
SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control system where by alternately switching the exhaust gas passages of the first and second filters 20A and 20B, collection of PM in exhaust gas G and the regeneration of the filter are executed, a confluent part between first downstream piping A1 of the first filter 20A and the second downstream piping B1 of the second filter 20B is formed such that a tip part A1a of the first downstream piping A1 is penetrated in the passage of the second downstream piping B1, and the passage of the second downstream piping B1 in the upstream of the confluent part is made narrow by the tip part A1a.
