Abstract:

To provide an exhaust emission guide assembly of a novel VGS turbocharger, capable of increasing the high-temperature wear resistance, oxidation resistance, and hot hardness.

The component members of the exhaust emission guide assembly A, such as a variable vane 1, a turbine frame 2, and a variable mechanism 3 are formed mainly of a high chromium and high nickel heat resistant metals added with 0.2 to 0.5% C, 15 to 30% Cr, 15 to 30% Ni, 0.01 to 0.1% Pb, 0.01 to 0.1% Se, 0.01 to 0.1% Te, 0.02 to 0.1% O, and 0.005 to 0.05% S (for all the elements the units are wt.%) to increase the durability.
