Abstract:
To further enhance cleaning activity in a low temperature region.
A noble metal is supported on a carrier obtained by adding at least one element selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and Al to ZrO2. It is known that the catalyst wherein Pd is supported on the ZrO2 carrier is excellent in low temperature activity but the low temperature activity of the catalyst can be further enhanced by adding at least one element selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and Al.
