Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst which exhibits satisfactory performance even at low temperatures (≤400°C) when an engine of a car is started or the car idles by improving the activity of a noble metal itself and preventing the activity of the noble metal from being deteriorated at high temperatures.
SOLUTION: In this exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, Pd oxide is deposited on an Al oxide and the Al oxide is expressed by the formula: LnALO3 (wherein Ln is the noble metal).
