Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate maintenance by preventing the adhesion of dust in exhaust gas to the route of the exhaust gas, such as an exhaust port, a dust collector and the like for a waste melting furnace, effecting the melting treatment of residue of incineration of municipal waste, industrial waste and the like.
CONSTITUTION: A vertical duct 6, discharging exhaust gas, is established uprightly on the ceiling wall 3 of a waste melting furnace and a scraping board 22 is provided so as to be moved approximately to the inner surface of the duct 6 while a multitude of small holes 10 for sending cooling air into the vertical duct 6 are opened to blow cooling air through the small holes 10 so that the temperature of exhaust gas in the outlet port of the vertical duct 6 becomes 300°C or lower.
