Abstract:

To provide an exhaust gas cooling method and cooling device provided with a cooling medium having a large cooling capacity so that a high temperature exhaust gas can be quickly moved from a dioxin re-synthesis temperature area to a safe temperature zone.

This exhaust gas cooling device is constituted of a jetting part 20 for jetting a cooling medium constituted of water containing fine ice particles into a gas cooling chamber 51, a dynamic ice making machine 10 for making ice mixed water 16 containing sherbet like ice 15 which is the cooling medium, and a pump 21 for conveying the sherbet like ice 15 and the water 16 which are the cooling medium to the jetting part 20. This dynamic ice making machine 10 is constituted of a brine cooler 13, a brine cooling refrigerator 11 for cooling brine in the cooler 13, a subcooler 12 for reducing water to a subcooled state by low temperature brine introduced by a brine pump 17, a heat accumulating water tank 14 having, at the top part thereof, a subcooling releasing and distributing part consisting of a separation plate 14a for instantaneously releasing the subcooled water subcooled to a subcooled region of about -2°C from its subcooling to separate it into the fine ice (sherbet like ice) 15 and the water 16, and a heat source water pump 19 for refluxing the separated water 16 to the lower part of the heat accumulating water tank 14 to the subcooler 12.
