Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust gas disposing device to collect particulate in exhaust gas by means of a filter heated by a heater to incinerate and dispose the particulate.
CONSTITUTION: A filter 4R on the upper stream side formed of porous ceramics having coarse pores in a position upper steam of the flow of exhaust gas and a filter 4F on the downstream side formed of porous ceramics having fine pores in a position downstream thereof are arranged in a casing 20. The filter 4R is heated by a heater 22 and a groove 28 to increase a contact area is formed in the filter 4F on the downstream. Particulate with a large size is collected by the filter 4R on the upper stream side, particulate with small size is collected by the filter 4F on the downstream side, and the collected particulate is incinerated and disposed. Power supplied to the heater 22 is fed from the generator 6 of a turbocharger 5 driven by means of exhaust gas energy.
