Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst which has high catalyst performance capable of burning particulates even at a relatively low exhaust gas temperature, does not provide the deposition of the particulates, does not require combustion regenerating means and has excellent durability and to provide an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst filter which is excellent in the efficiency of capturing the particulates and is excellent in exhaust gas cleaning performance. SOLUTION: This catalyst contains a copper vanadium compound, alkaline metal sulfate and manganese and the molar ratio of the copper element and the vanadium element is 1:3.5 to 1:1.5, more preferably 1:2.5 to 1:1.5.
