Abstract:

To provide a catalyst for purifying exhaust gas which can be used as the catalyst for purifying the exhaust gas from an automobile, a factory or the like and which can be quickly regenerated at low temperature from SOx poisoning.

The catalyst for purifying the exhaust gas by removing NOx in the exhaust gas comprises a complex oxide catalyst expressed by general formula: BaBxOy.
