Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Ce-containing composite oxide having improved oxygen storage ability per unit weight.SOLUTION: There are provided: an exhaust gas purification catalyst which is a composite oxide containing Ce, La and Zr and has a pyrochlore structure represented by the formula ABO, wherein A site consists of Ce and La, B site contains Zr and the composition ratio of Ce of A site is 0.6 to 0.8; and an exhaust gas purification catalyst obtained by carrying a noble metal on the composite oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
