Abstract:
PURPOSE:To utilize pulsation of exhaust gas efficiency, so as to prevent reduction of output, and reduce deterioration of a catalyst caused by water entering a catalyst body. CONSTITUTION:An expansion chamber 5 is provided in a drive shaft housing 2, an exhaust tube connected to the exhaust hole 6 of an upper side engine holder 1 is inserted downward in the expansion chamber 5. A second exhaust tube 9 connected to the top end of a lower side gear case 3 is inserted upward in the expansion chamber 5, and a catalyst 10 is inserted on the upper end of the second exhaust tube 9, then exhaust gas is discharged into water through the inside of the gear case 3.
