Abstract:
PURPOSE: To further reduce generation of NOx by introducing recirculated exhaust gas relating to a rotary piston engine.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) port 42 is provided in a position opened to appear in leading/trailing parts L, T of each operating chamber 17 placed from an intake stroke to a compression stroke relating to rotation of a rotor 15. Exhaust gas, recirculated to the operating chamber from an exhaust system, is unevenly provided introduced to the leading/trailing parts of each operating chamber from the EGR port.
