Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) control device capable of setting a proper EGR factor in accordance with a load by a simple control mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: In an exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) control device having an EGR passage 7 provided on the halfway with an exhaust gas flow adjusting valve responsibly operated to a negative pressure in an intake passage, a cam 5 is provided in a throttle rod 4 associated with a throttle valve, and a mechanical valve 1 for closing the EGR passage 7 in a high load region by the cam 5 is provided in the EGR passage 7.
