Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device capable of reliably preventing extraction of a sealing body while reliably blocking a first pore with the sealing body, the first pore communicating with a valve chamber.SOLUTION: In a body 12 of an exhaust gas recirculation device 10, an open hole 32 positioned right below a ball valve 14 and penetrating in a vertical direction is formed and communicates with a valve chamber 28. Also, at a side part of the body 12, provided is a connection flange 24 to which a cylinder head C of an internal combustion engine is connected. A rod hole 34 extends in a horizontal direction so as to open toward the connection flange 24, and crosses with the open hole 32. Into the rod hole 34, a sealing rod 36 is inserted from the connection flange 24 side, and inserted up to a cross portion with the open hole 32, thereby cutting off communication between an opening part of the open hole 32 and the valve chamber 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
