Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable introduction of exhaust recirculation gas even during a high-load operation of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In an exhaust passage LA for discharging exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine 20 to outside of a vehicle, a first flow passage control mechanism 40 for changing a flow passage area of the exhaust passage is provided. An exhaust recirculation passage LB for recirculating exhaust gas to an intake passage LD of the internal combustion engine 20 is branched from the exhaust passage LA on the exhaust gas flow upstream side of the first flow passage control mechanism 40. When load of the internal combustion engine 20 is a first predetermined value or larger, the first flow passage control mechanism 40 restricts the flow passage area of the exhaust passage LA to raise pressure of a passage downstream of the internal combustion engine 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
