To provide an exhaust gas-treating device which causes no clogging due to the wetting of a neutralizing agent even when a waste incinerator is started up and shutdown.
The exhaust gas-treating device is provided with: a prior-stage bag filter 1 which collects dust in an exhaust gas; and a posterior-stage bag filter 2 which makes an acidic gas in the exhaust gas, which passes through the prior-stage bag filter 1, react with a neutralizing agent to perform desalination and desulfurization and collects the dust; the bag filter 1 and the bag filter 2 being integrally connected with each other via an exhaust gas passage 3. In this case, a partition 4, which blocks the outlet part 8 of the prior-stage bag filter 1 and the outlet part 9 of the posterior-stage bag filter 2, is provided with an opening/closing means 20, and consequently the exhaust gas, which passes through the prior-stage bag filter 1, bypasses the posterior-stage bag filter 2.
