Abstract:
The exhaust gas treatment device (1) has a housing (30) and an exhaust gas treatment unit (7) arranged at a distance to the housing. The exhaust gas treatment unit extends into the housing, where an opening (11) is provided in the housing. The opening is arranged laterally to the exhaust gas treatment unit and extends laterally across 50 percent of the exhaust gas treatment unit. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle, which has an internal combustion engine and an exhaust gas system.
