To provide an exhaust gas treatment device which is reduced in size while maintaining high heating efficiency and treatment efficiency of exhaust gas.
The exhaust gas treatment device 1 includes: a chamber 2 in which exhaust gas is introduced and a removal object material in the exhaust gas is burnt; and a heating means 2 provided outside the chamber 2 to heat the chamber 2. The chamber 2 includes a hollowed cylindrical chamber body 3 configured to introduce the exhaust gas from one end side and discharge it from the other end side; and a plurality of pipe bodies 5 disposed inside the chamber body 2 in the axial direction of the chamber body 3, the pipe bodies promoting heat exchange of the exhaust gas with the heated atmosphere in the chamber body.
