Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exhaust gas treatment equipment that can flexibly execute a treatment of an exhaust gas discharged out of a piece of metal reduction treatment equipment even when a composition and an amount of a material supplied into the equipment varies and can realize a high utilization rate by minimizing a period over which operation needs to keep shut down for maintenance inspection.SOLUTION: A piece of exhaust gas treatment equipment of this invention, which targets an exhaust gas discharged out of a piece of metal reduction treatment equipment and containing a volatile component, comprises a heat exchanger that exchanges heat of the exhaust gas discharged out of the piece of metal reduction treatment equipment with a refrigerant via a heat transfer surface, a cooler that cools the exhaust gas by spraying water to the gas discharged out of the piece of metal reduction treatment equipment, and a selector valve that changes a flow path of the exhaust gas so as to introduce the exhaust gas to one or both of the heat exchanger and the cooler.
