To provide exhaust gas treatment equipment which can carry out effectively the collection of a particulate and the regeneration of a filter in the exhaust gas by a pair of first filters and remove NOx effectively by a second filter provided in the rear stream.
A pair of first filters 1, 2 are collected and regenerated in order by the switch of a selector valves 21 and the particulate in the exhaust gas is collected and processed and NOx in the exhaust gas is dissolved and removed by the second filter 3 of the rear flow. Escape valves 19, 23 are opened/ closed and the exhaust gas after regeneration is exhausted outside and the regeneration exhaust gas is not streamed to the second filter 3. On the outer periphery of the second filter 3, a heated exhaust gas passage 33 in which the exhaust gas flows is provided and the second filter 3 is heated and by maintaining the second filter 3 to the most suitable temperature, NOx dissolving efficiency of the catalyst chemical compound with a brownmillerite type structure is improved by heating the second filter 3d.
