To provide exhaust gas treatment equipment which can stably maintain purification efficiency of a plasma generator by stably generating plasma.
The exhaust gas treatment equipment is constituted so that a catalyst chamber 9, a hood 11, a plasma source 12, and guide members 8, 10 are internally equipped within a housing 1. The catalyst chamber comprises annular space for loading a catalyst, and at least an opening end part on the large diameter side of the hood is inserted within the catalyst chamber 9. Then, the plasma source is inserted within an opening end part on the small diameter side of the hood 11. The guide members passing through the catalyst chamber 9 are for introducing the exhaust gas, which is discharged from a termination 8b of the catalyst chamber 9, from the opening end part on the large diameter side of the hood 11 to the inside of the hood 11.
