Abstract:
To provide a new exhaust guide assembly of a VGS type turbocharger in which the embrittlement of the structure in a high temperature exhaust gas atmosphere of ≥700°C is suppressed.
The constitutional member of an exhaust guide assembly A of a variable blade 1, a turbine frame 2, a variable mechanism 3 or the like consists of a heat resistant stock containing, by weight, ≤0.05% C, ≥1% Mn, ≥15% Ni, ≤30% Cr, ≥0.1% Ti, ≥0.1% Al and ≥0.05% Ce or La, and a film of chromium carbide is formed on the surface of the member to improve its high temperature durability.
