Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain radiation sound from being generated from an outer pipe caused by excitation of a flat part of an inner pipe in an exhaust manifold having a wafer cake-type double pipe structure. SOLUTION: Two stainless steel plate materials 4a, 4b are formed, and the joint surface is welded to each other to form an inner pipe 5. Two stainless steel plates 2a, 2b are formed, the joint surface is welded to each other to form an outer pipe 3. The inner pipe 5 and the outer ripe 3 are fixed to a head flange 11. A plurality of wires 16 arranged in parallel in the same direction are arranged on the dead end part 15 of the inner pipe 5 for flowing exhaust gas, and pressure waves are irregularly reflected or absorbed.
