Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a radial noise from a tail tube in an exhaust muffler for an automobile.
SOLUTION: A first resonator comprises a first tail tube 8 for discharging exhaust gas from an enlarged chamber 3 to the outside, a second tail tube 11 for discharging exhaust gas from a dead space chamber 2 to the outside, and a first volume chamber 17 and a first neck pipe 16 which are located adjacently to the dead space chamber 2, and a second resonator comprises a second volume chamber 19 and a second neck pipe 18 which are separated from the dead space chamber 2.
