Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust muffler improving the durability by permitting the relative displacement of an inner plate and an outer plate of the end plate.
SOLUTION: In the exhaust muffler consisting of the inner plate 24, to which at least one side of end plates 12, 13 closing the both ends of a cylindrical outer shell 11 is attached to the outer plate 22 and an inner wall face of the outer shell via a sound deadening layer 23, a flange 243 is extendedly formed at the periphery of the inner plate 24, an engagement member 25 is integrally bonded with the inner wall face f2, and a claw part 252 capable of stopping in the state of overlapping the flange 243 at the inner wall face f2 is extendedly formed in the engagement member.
