Abstract:
To provide an exhaust pipe device and an exhaust method for increasing an exhaust inertia effect at a speed range from a low speed range to a high speed range and realizing to improve an output characteristic and a torque characteristic of an engine.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an exhaust pipe device 1 connected at a middle part of an exhaust pipe connected to an engine comprising a first connection part 2 having one end connected to the exhaust pipe connected to the engine; a first hollow cylindrical branch exhaust pipe 3 having one end connected to the other end of the first connection part; a second branch exhaust pipe 4; a communication part 6 for communicating the first branch exhaust pipe with an opening arranged from one end to the other end in a longitudinal direction at side surfaces of opposite sides of the first branch exhaust pipe and said second branch exhaust pipe; a second connection part 5 having one end connected to the other ends of the first branch exhaust pipe and the second branch exhaust pipe and the other end connected to the exhaust pipe characterized in that a sectional area of the exhaust pipe connected to said engine is the same as a total sum of sectional areas of said first branch exhaust pipe and the second branch exhaust pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
