To provide an exhaust pipe capable of avoiding damage to a sensor element by preventing water generated by the moisture condensation in exhaust gas from contacting with the sensor and preventing a drop in detection accuracy by the sensor, and to provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine with the pipe.
A partition plate 100 separating an exhaust passage into upper and lower parts is provided in the exhaust pipe 50 to form a first passage 50A in the upper part and a second passage 50B in the lower part. A plurality of communication holes 101 communicating the first passage 50A and the second passage 50B is provided in the plate 100. There is further provided a wall 102 inclined downwards below the hole 101, thereby forming a communication passage communicating the first and the second passages 50A, 50B.
