To reduce the influence of condensed water within a pressure transmission pipe of an exhaust pressure detection apparatus and improve the durability of the exhaust pressure detection apparatus.
A pressure sensor of the exhaust pressure detection apparatus is mounted to an on-vehicle component which is arranged on the side of an engine in the vehicle width direction and above a crankshaft of the engine in the vehicle longitudinal direction. A pressure transmission pipe is constituted by a metallic pipe extending toward the upper of the vehicle from a pressure outlet and a rubber hose which connects the metallic pipe and the pressure sensor. When viewed from the side of the vehicle, the rubber hose, being connected to the metallic pipe, includes an upstream part which extends nearly above the crankshaft while slightly leaning forward with respect to the horizontal direction and a downstream part which bends with respect to the upstream part, extends toward the upper of the vehicle, and is connected to the pressure sensor. The upstream part of the rubber hose is fixed to the engine near the bending part of the rubber hose and nearly right above the central axis of the crankshaft.
