Title:
EXHAUST PRESSURE DETECTOR OF ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3906833
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by restraining influence of condensed water in pressure transmission pipes 40, 41 and making the influence of heat and vibration of an engine 1 hard to be exerted, in a device for detecting the exhaust pressure from an exhaust pipe in a vertical engine in which a filter device is mounted on the exhaust pipe.
SOLUTION: Metallic pressure take out pipes 22, 23 are communicated with the exhaust pipe 7, and disposed along one side of a power unit 4 composed of the engine 1 and a transmission 3. Metallic pipes 28, 29 are supported on the power unit 4, and disposed to cross the power unit 4. The pressure take out pipes 22, 23 and the metallic pipes 28, 29 are connected by first hoses 26, 27 extended substantially in the width direction of the car body, and the metallic pipes 28, 29 and a pressure sensor part 34 provided on the upper side of an engine room2 are connected by second hoses 32, 33 extended substantially in the width direction of the car body. The thus constructed pressure transmission pipes 40, 41 are disposed upward rather than horizontally extending from the exhaust pipe 7 to a pressure sensor part 34 over the total length.
