Abstract:
To improve fuel economy while suppressing emissions of NOx to outside of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device for an exhaust emission control device provided in an exhaust passage through which exhaust gas discharged from an engine passes and having including a nitrogen oxide occlusion catalyst capable of occluding nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas includes a control section for executing enriching treatment for temporarily making an air-fuel ratio of inflow gas flowing into the nitrogen oxide occlusion catalyst rich in order to reduce the nitrogen oxide occluded in the nitrogen oxide occlusion catalyst. In the control device for the exhaust emission control device, the control section controls the change amount of the air-fuel ratio of the inflow gas in the enriching treatment on the basis of a flow rate of the inflow gas and the concentration of the nitrogen oxide in the inflow gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
