Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust purification device of an on-vehicle internal combustion engine capable of curbing an increase in an exhaust temperature due to regeneration of a filter while a vehicle is stopped.SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 26 of an on-vehicle engine 1 has: a filter 32 which collects particulates in exhaust; and a urea addition valve 230 which is installed at a downstream side of the filter 32 in an exhaust flow and adds urea water for exhaust purification to an inside of the exhaust passage 26. A control device 80 performs a regeneration treatment to regenerate the filter 32 by adding fuel to the inside of the exhaust passage 26 at an upstream side of the filter 32 in the exhaust flow. The control device 80 adds the urea water through the urea addition valve 230 when a temperature of the exhaust exceeds a predetermined temperature while performing the regeneration treatment of the filter 32 while a vehicle is stopped.
