Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ammonia generation efficiency.SOLUTION: An exhaust purification system comprises: a first catalyst device which generates ammonia by hydrolyzing urea water supplied to an exhaust flow passage; a second catalyst device which reduces nitrogen oxide in exhaust flowing therein by using the ammonia generated by the first catalyst device at a downstream side thereof in the exhaust flow passage; a first electrode pair and a second electrode pair arranged opposite to each other with the first catalyst device placed in between; a measurement section which measures electrostatic capacity in a gap between the first electrode pair; and a power source section which applies AC voltage to the second electrode pair when the electrostatic capacity measure by the measurement section is equal to or more than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
