Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust quantity measurement device which can easily change position, hardly fails and is cheaper than conventional ones.
SOLUTION: When the piston of a filter cake pressure pump 2 moves leftward in the figure, the filter cake supplied with a case receiving hopper 1 is filled in the cylinder of the cake pressure pump 2. The filter cake filled in the cylinder contains air and the like whose internal pressure is not so high. When the piston moves rightward in the figure the pressure to the filter cake in the cylinder is larger at first than the internal pressure of the filter cake and so, the filter cake is compressed and exhausted, and the strain of a pipe 3 gradually increases. When the piston moves on further rightward, the pressure given by the piston to the filter cake in the cylinder and the internal pressure of the cake balance and the strain of the pipe 3 become constant. A strain measurement device 4 detects the strain and the exhaust quantity calculation device analyzes the strain to obtain the exhaust quantity of the filter cake.
