Title:
EXHAUST STRUCTURE OF ENGINE WITH SUPERCHARGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012246820
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an exhaust structure of an engine with a supercharger, even if a condensed water is inevitably generated due to a structure of an exhaust system, capable of preventing the generated condensed water from entering an air-fuel ratio sensor.

In the engine with the supercharger, particularly a gasoline engine with the supercharger, the exhaust system is constituted by a main passage 21 for guiding the exhaust gas to the turbine of the supercharger, a bypass passage 22 branched from the main passage 21 at a waist gate 22E of the upstream side of the turbine, and an exhaust pipe 30 coupled with the bypass passage 22. The bypass passage 22 is provided with a waste gate valve 22V capable of opening and closing the passage 22. The exhaust pipe 30 is provided with the air-fuel ratio sensor 40 in the upstream side more than a catalyst. The bypass passage 22 is branched from the main passage 21 in an acute angle manner on the upstream side in an extending direction of the main passage 21.
