Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust structure in a pipe line preventing an adverse effect on facilities on the downstream side by obviating the disturbance of the flow of water on the downstream side by air mixed in water passing through the inverted siphon pipe line while being able to preventing the flying of a cover or the like for a manhole by the ejection of water on the downstream side.
SOLUTION: Air contained in water flowing in an inverted siphon conduit 24 is collected at a top section in the conduit 24 by the upstream-side pipe line 12 installed at a high place on the upstream side, the downstream-side pipe line 14 mounted at a place lower than the pipe line 12 on the downstream side and the pipe line 10, which comprises upstream- downstream side inverted siphon chambers 20 and 22 connected to the pipe line 12 and the pipe line 14 and extended to lower sections and the inverted siphon pipe line 16 with the conduit 24 connecting the mutual lower ends of the chambers 20 and 22 and through which water can be passed to an underground section by head difference from the upstream side to the downstream side. An air collecting pipe 44 having a plurality of air collecting holes 48, through which water is difficult to pass, along the axial direction of the conduit 24 is disposed, an air discharge pipe 46 in which one end is opened to atmospheric air is connected to the air collecting pipe 44 and air contained in water flowing in the conduit 24 is discharged to atmospheric air.
