Abstract:
To provide an exhaust structure for an outboard motor, having an excellent effect of preventing exhaust gas leakage, and improving and maintaining exhaust performance.
Exhaust gas G from an engine passes through a lower unit, passes through the inside of a propeller boss 57 connected to a propeller shaft 36, and is discharged into water. The outer diameter of the front end 57a of the propeller boss 57 is set equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the rear end of a gear case 25 in the lower unit.
