PURPOSE: To reduce the noise of exhaust, and to simplify the structure and to reduce the weight of an exhaust system under the condition that an engine mounted on an automobile discharges exhaust gas in which substantially no harmful component is included.
CONSTITUTION: In an automobile on which a hydrogen engine 40 is mounted, the inside of the closed sectional structure constituting the vehicle body 11 is communicated by a communicating passage forming part 30, and a part of the communicating passage forming part 30 is connected to the exhaust passages 41, 42 of the hydrogen engine 40, and the other part thereof forms an exhaust gas discharge port 31B. Thereby, a silencing effect is exerted on the exhaust gas discharged through the exhaust passages 41, 42 of the hydrogen engine 40.
