PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable heat got from an exhaust muffler and a catalyst device to be effectively shut off without making any complex structure at a vehicular internal combustion engine in which the exhaust muffler to cause exhaust gas discharged out of a cylinder head to be guided extends in a vehicle width direction and arranged at a rear part of a vehicle frame.SOLUTION: A catalyst device 54 connected to an exhaust muffler 55 from a front side thereof in a substantial T-shape as seen from a top plan view is disposed between an exhaust pipe 53 and the exhaust muffle 55, a reinforcing cover 75 having one end fixed to an upstream end of the catalyst device 54 covers the catalyst device 54 with the other end being fixed to the exhaust muffler 55, an extending-out part 81b extending up rearward along an outer periphery of the exhaust muffle 55 is integrally formed at the rear part of a first heat shielding member 81 covering the reinforcing cover 75 from above, and a second heat shielding member 88 integrally having a rearward upwardly inclined cover part 88a covering the extending-out part 81b from above is arranged to cover the exhaust muffler 55 from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
