To efficiently discharge an exhaust gas.SOLUTION: A muffler 1 includes: an inside pipe 2 having an opening part 25 in a lateral part and accelerating a flow velocity of an exhaust gas flowing out from an exhaust system pipe; and an outside pipe 3 disposed so as to enclose the inside pipe 2 and accelerating a flow velocity of an exhaust gas flowing out from the opening part 25 using negative pressure generated in the vicinity of an exhaust-gas outlet of the inside pipe 2 with acceleration of the flow velocity of the exhaust gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
