Abstract:
To provide an exhaust system advantageous to improvement of exhaust gas sensing accuracy.SOLUTION: In a vehicular exhaust system 25, an exhaust pipe 51 includes a downstream side exhaust pipe 62 opened in a muffler 52. The muffler 52 is partitioned into a plurality of spaces, and includes a communication pipe 96 for communicating between a space with which the downstream side exhaust pipe 62 communicates and the other space. The downstream side exhaust pipe 62 is oriented in a direction different from a longitudinal direction of the muffler 52, and a downstream side end surface 62M of the downstream side exhaust pipe 62 has positional relation that is not in parallel with an upstream side end surface 96M of the communication pipe 96. A catalyst 70 is provided upstream of the downstream side end surface 62M of the downstream side exhaust pipe 62, and an exhaust gas sensor 81 is provided on the exhaust pipe 51 downstream of the catalyst 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
