Abstract:
The device has a shaft rotatable about its longitudinal axis in a housing, carrying turbine and compressor wheels and mounted in radial bearings and at least one axial bearing. The radial bearings are passive permanent magnet bearings with bearing plates (rotors) seated on the shaft. There is an axially opposed stator(s). A spring-elastic element for radial damping of shaft vibrations is arranged between the stator and a part fixed to the housing. The device has a housing and a shaft (2) in the housing rotatable about its longitudinal axis, carrying a turbine wheel (4) and a compressor wheel (3) and mounted in radial bearings (5,6) and at least one axial bearing (9). The radial bearings are passive permanent magnet bearings with bearing plates (12,16) (rotors) seated on the shaft. There is at least one axially opposed stator (19-22). A spring-elastic element (60,61) for radial damping of vibrations of the shaft is arranged between the stator and a part (37,38) fixed relative to the housing.
