Abstract:
To properly cool a portion of a waste gate passage and a tongue part without excessively increasing a flow rate of cooling water, in a turbine housing which forms a cooling water jacket so as to surround a turbine scroll chamber.SOLUTION: An inside jacket 25 and an outside jacket 26 for surrounding a turbine scroll chamber 7 are formed at a turbine housing 4 in a state of being separated to left and right sides by a center bulkhead 27. Cooling water flows in from a cooling water inlet port 28 formed at a lower end of the turbine housing 4, and is discharged from a cooling water outlet port 30 formed at an upper end of the turbine housing 4. The outside jacket 26 has a first portion 26a communicating with the cooling water inlet port 28, a second portion 26b surrounding a waste gate passenger, and a third portion 28c communicating with the cooling water outlet port. A rectification rib 32 is formed at the first port 26a. The rectification rib 32 takes a posture for making the cooling water progress toward the second portion 26b in a position above the tongue part 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
