PURPOSE: To facilitate replacement, improve outward appearance, and secure a rear view and the fitting space of a rear door by forming a pillar, erected on the rear part of a vehicle such as a forklift truck, into a hollow cylindrical body provided with an axial recessed part, and disposing an exhaust pipe in the recessed part and fitting a cover to the opening face of the recessed part.

CONSTITUTION: A hollow cylindrical pillar 2, provided with a recessed part 22 formed along the axial direction, is erected on the rear part of a vehicle. An exhaust pipe 10 is disposed in the recessed part 22, and its outlet 101 is positioned on the upper part 23 of the pillar 2. A cover 24 is fitted to the opening face of the recessed part 22. With this constitution, replacement becomes easy, and outward appearance is improved. A rear view and the fitting space of a rear door can be also secured.
