This exhausting apparatus for cooling is constituted by providing a suction box 6 having a suction port 7 at a sucking position A1 behind a heating apparatus 2 for cooking and connecting suction pipes 9 and 10 and a suction fan 12 to the box 6 so as to discharge cooking smoke, etc., sucked through the suction port 7 to the outdoor through the suction pipes 9 and 10 by means of the suction fan 12. The suction box 6 is constituted so that the box 6 may be raised and lowered along vertical guiding plates 5a and 5b and may be held at an upper sucking position A2 higher than the sucking position A1 by further raising the box 6. In addition, the suction pipes 9 and 10 are constituted so that the pipes 9 and 10 may be extended and contracted within the vertical moving extent of the box 6.
