To obtain the subject composition with excellent moldability, benign to the global environment, good in physical properties such as tensile strength, elongation, flex resistance, heat resistance and flexibility, excellent in durability, good in cushionability, excellent in expandability, dimensional stability and lightweightness, and capable of injection molding even with common, general-purpose injection molding machines intended for polyvinyl chloride.
This composition consists mainly of a composition prepared by incorporating 0.5-5 pts.wt. of a foaming agent in 100 pts.wt. of a compound composed of a linear low-density ethylene/α-olefin copolymer polymerized using a metallocene catalyst and a rubber compatible therewith in the weight ratio of (95-60):(5-40); wherein the above linear low-density ethylene/α-olefin copolymer to be used is pref. an elastic, substantially linear ethylene/α-olefin copolymer with a density of 0.863-0.902 g/cm3.
