Abstract:
To provide an expander integrated compressor with improved durability.SOLUTION: An expander integrated compressor 100 includes a rotary shaft 120, a compression mechanism 102, an expansion mechanism 104, and a heating element 124. The compression mechanism 102 compresses a refrigerant. The expansion mechanism 104 has: a gas bearing 118 supporting the rotary shaft 120; and a turbine wheel 105 attached to the rotary shaft 120. The expansion mechanism 104 is connected to the compression mechanism 102 through the rotary shaft 120 and expands the refrigerant. The heating element 124 directly or indirectly heats the gas bearing 118 in a state that rotation of the rotary shaft 120 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
