PURPOSE: To provide an expansible liquid-receiving portion type fire robot in which the number of liquid feeding joints along a long path of movement such as a tunnel is reduced and which can perform fire-extinguishing action in an optimum position.
CONSTITUTION: In a fire robot 2 which can travel along the path 1 of movement, a robot main body 2a includes a hose reel 4a on which a hose 11 can be wound under certain tension, the hose connected to the hose reel 4a at one end, and a joint receiver 7a which can move back and forth along a certain direction. A liquid-receiving joint 8, which is held against the joint receiver 7a and is attached to and removed from a fixed liquid feeding joint 10 by a push-catch/ push-open mechanism by the pushing action of the joint receiver 7a, is connected to the end of the hose 11.
